- At least one SAFe certification

- Full application of SAFe principles in practice
- Coaching Agile and SAFe facilitation and leading by example
- Introduction to or participation in at least one ART and one PI

- At least 3 months of real, practical experience as an RTE

The online certification test is conducted in English. Participants who pass this test receive:
- Exam name: SAFe 5 Release Train Engineer Exam
- Exam format: Multiple choice
- Exam access: first attempt free of charge within 30 days of course completion
- Exam duration: once the exam has started, candidates have 120 minutes to complete it
- Number of questions: 60
- Pass mark: 40 out of 60 points (67%)
