This training serves as preparation for SAFe® Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certification.

After this training, you will understand how to
- apply the role of product management and product owner in SAFe
- write epics, features, and user stories and cut them to the appropriate size
- develop a solid understanding of program management in a lean-agile organization
Scrum is one of the most widely used agile working methods in the banking environment. This seminar focuses on the role of the Product Owner, which is often neglected due to the intense focus on the role of the Scrum Master. Since the decision-makers for products/services are often people higher up in the hierarchy, it is essential that they not only understand the working methods, but also interact with the agile teams in a favorable manner. It is not uncommon for agility to degenerate into organizational lip service when old ways of thinking are perpetuated due to a misunderstanding of the role of the product owner.
Our team recently coached several master journeys at a major German bank, consisting of several Scrum teams and up to 120 project participants. Here, participants learn from experienced agile coaches who have firsthand experience with the introduction, implementation, optimization, learning curves, and conflicts with the line organization.

Prerequisites
- Training is conducted in English, the documents are in English
- Experience in agile processes
- Certification as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, or SAFe Agilist is an advantage
Prerequisites and online test certification
This training prepares you for a test so that you can obtain SAFe POPM certification. Participants who pass this test receive:
- SAFe POPM certificate
- 1-year membership as SAFe POPM
- SAFe PM/PO branding kit with the POPM certificate badge
